In the capital city of Seoul, South Korea, there was a mobile information system for road conditions, working on technology-based Mobile Wimax ( or rather its Korean version - WiBro). Operator system is a Korean company Point-I, a network for communication provided the Korean mobile operator Korea Telecom, and the coordinator of the project was the Seoul Urban Management Corporation.

Last week, Wibro received the status of a world standard, which she was awarded the International Telecommunication Union.

In addition, drivers will also be able to receive and service information, such as weather forecast, information on public transport and other information useful in finding the City.
Today, Seoul is set about 150 monitoring points, but in the near future the number of cameras will be increased. Korean operator Korea Telecom in the future will introduce users to the possibility of laying the optimal route of the road environment.
